A maximum of two grants per year of £100 each are available. Applications should be received before 31st January and will be awarded on a ‘first come, first served’ basis,

Grants are limited to state funded schools, including academies.

Applications should be for a new garden, or a significant redesign of an existing garden.

The application should explain what is planned, how it will be financed and who will take responsibility for the project and the future maintenance of the garden.

The school should share with parents and friends the information that Essex Gardens Trust is supporting the garden and agree to EGT sharing this news with our members and friends.

EGT should be invited to the school to see progress and the finished garden.’
